1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/4 t. pepper
2 T. chopped parsley
1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 t. garlic powder
Mix everything together, then form into 1 inch balls. Fry meatballs in 2 tablespoons of olive oil to brown meatballs on all sides. Strain the grease if there is a lot. Simmer meatballs in 2 quarts of your favorite sauce for half an hour. This will give you enough "gravy" to serve generously over about 1 pound of pasta.
